These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pro Baseball Sim mobile app ("the app" or "the game"), including its optional online features (accounts, the global leaderboard, and cloud saves) when available. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
By downloading, installing, or using Pro Baseball Sim, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean Langsæter Labs (trading as Fjord Studio), and "you" means you, the user.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pro Baseball Sim. Where your country sets a higher minimum age, you may use it below that age only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Pro Baseball Sim on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
Online features use an anonymous account tied to your device plus a fictional handle you choose. You agree to pick a handle that is not offensive, misleading, or someone else's real name or trademark, and not to impersonate other players. We may reset or remove handles that break this rule. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account and its server-side data at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
You agree not to:
Your careers, progress, and settings are stored locally on your device; if cloud save is available and enabled, a copy is also kept on our servers. Local data may be lost if you uninstall the app, clear its data, or lose or reset your device, and unless you used cloud save we cannot recover it. Leaderboard entries and cloud saves are provided "as available" and may be reset in the event of serious technical problems or cheating.
The game is free and supported by optional, player-initiated reward ads (for example refilling energy or an extra reward spin) plus at most two short ad breaks per in-game season. We may offer one-time purchases (such as the "Pro" unlock) through Google Play Billing; prices are shown before purchase, and purchases are subject to Google Play's payment and refund policies. Purchases are non-transferable and hold no real-world monetary value. In-game currency (money, XP, rewards) is fictional, cannot be cashed out, and may be rebalanced by updates.
Pro Baseball Sim is an independent fictional simulation. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with Major League Baseball, the MLB Players Association, Minor League Baseball, any professional or amateur baseball league, or any real team, club, or player. All teams, players, leagues, and names in the game are fictional, and any resemblance to real persons or organisations is unintended.
The app — including its software, simulation engine, design, artwork, and the "Pro Baseball Sim" and "Fjord Studio" names — is owned by Langsæter Labs and protected by applicable laws. Except for the limited licence granted to you in these Terms, nothing here transfers any intellectual-property rights to you.
The core game is playable offline. Online features (leaderboard, accounts, cloud save) depend on network connectivity and our servers; we may modify, suspend, or discontinue them at any time. Where reasonably possible we will give notice of permanent discontinuation of a feature that stores your data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app or its online services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that they will meet your expectations. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you, and your mandatory legal rights are not affected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Langsæter Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of saved data, leaderboard standing, or game progress, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where that cannot be done by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory consumer rights.
You may stop using the app, delete your account, and uninstall at any time. We may suspend or end your licence or your access to online features if you breach these Terms (including cheating on the leaderboard). On termination, your licence to use the app ends.
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example when online features or purchases launch. When changes are material, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app or its store listing. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
